Where it All Began

It all started back in 2019. My brother and his wife were planning their wedding, and it was proposed to me that I help out with some of their designs. I had never designed stationery before, but I was enjoying the challenge it brought on. Confession time. Prior to AP Prints, I really just enjoyed social media marketing and would play around with Adobe or other platforms to try and create something beautiful. Well, after having the honor of creating multiple designs for their wedding, my brother and his wife encouraged me to really jump into the business of stationery design. So, I jumped in with both feet. It’s amazing what some encouragement and support can do, am I right?

When thinking up a name, the first thing that popped into my head was what my friends and husband call me – AP. See prior to becoming a Chandler I was a Paul. So, Ashley Paul, better known as AP. AP Prints was something my mouth spewed out, and my brain had to catch up to. Confession. I think out loud. As AP Prints was born, I thoroughly enjoyed getting to brand AP Prints with a fun paper airplane.

If you know me at all, then you know this jump was way out of my comfort zone. I am a girl that enjoys little change and the comfort of a routine. Honestly though, AP Prints and the friends and clients I have had the privilege of working with have brought so much joy to my life. It was worth the fear of starting out. Getting to share what I love most with other people is truly the most rewarding hobby I could ask for.

My favorite thing about design is that each creation gives a glimpse into who you are. Whether it be a simple stationery set or an invite to your big day, you can’t help but add a little bit of unique style into your design preferences!

I will never be able to put in words the smile that you bring to my face when you reach out with your vision and inspiration pictures. You challenge me in the best ways to bring to life your vision, and it is truly my greatest joy.

I live in Auburn, Alabama with my husband and curly chocolate labradoodle named Clover. I am now an avid reader encouraged by the greatest bookclub. I am scuba certified, but never use it, and I love interior decorating. All things neutral is my home, but I love pops of color to cheer up any space. My favorite paper is cotton double ply, and I have a love for all things scripted fonts.

Thank you for taking the time to explore my page, and learn a little about me. I cannot wait to learn more about you and help bring your vision to paper!
